Stephen Nover's CFL Friday Big Ticket
(CFL) Toronto vs. Calgary,
Point Spread: 9.50 | -110.00 Calgary (Home)
Result: Win
OK, at plus 9 1/2 I'll take the home 'dog Stampeders. It's been a highly-disappointing season for Calgary. But the Stampeders should be better than their 2-5 record, while 6-0 Toronto only has played one opponent that is above .500.

Calgary surrenders nearly 25 fewer yards per game than Toronto. The Stampeders rank No. 3 in pass defense.

I'm not a fan of Stampeders QB Jake Maier, but he's going against a Toronto secondary that gives up a league-worst average of 321.7 yards passing and also ranks last in TD passes allowed, surrendering 11.

Calgary also is 8-3-2 ATS during its last 13 meetings against the Argos and 12-3-1 ATS after not covering during its previous game.
