Stephen Nover's Wrong Favorite Casher - 12-4 MLB!
(MLB) Detroit vs. Chi White Sox,
Money Line: 116.00 Chi White Sox (Home)
Result: Push
The White Sox are moving into respectability just three games away from being .500. Chicago has won 11 of its last 16 home games.

So I don't get that the Tigers opened a road favorite. OK, lefty Matt Boyd is pitching for Detroit against Reynaldo Lopez. But Boyd hasn't been good lately. Maybe he's distracted by trade rumors because he's 0-2 with a 6.88 ERA in his last three starts. Boyd has a 6.23 career ERA, too, in seven starts at Chicago's Guaranteed Rate Field. The Tigers are 0-7 in those games.

The White Sox have a winning record, 13-11, against lefty starters this season. Detroit is 1-9 in its last 10 games and 2-13 in its past 15 games.

Lopez is coming off a quality start giving up three runs on the road in six innings against the Red Sox. Now he drops down in class to face a Tigers team for the third time this season. Lopez allowed two earned runs in 12 innings with 22 strikeouts in those two starts against Detroit. Lopez has a career 2.86 ERA in nine appearances versus the Tigers.
