The Sun are 15-2 at home this season. They have tremendous motivation to open this semifinal series with a victory at home having lost in the second round of the playoffs each of the past two seasons. 
Los Angeles is not a good road team. The Sparks are 7-10 away from LA and have lost four of their previous five road contests. The Sparks have failed to cover in each of their last five away matchups. This is their first road game of the month. 
Connecticut has the tall frontline to bother Los Angeles. That was evident when the teams last met in Connecticut. The Sun won that game, 89-77, on June 6. 
The Sun are well rested. The Sparks, though, had to play this past Sunday beating Seattle, 92-69, at home. Now they make the cross-country journey on just one day's rest. The Sparks are 2-5 ATS the last seven times when playing on one day's rest.
