(NCAAF) Memphis vs. Temple,
Point Spread: 4.50 | -110.00 Temple (Home)
Result: Win
What tips the scale and puts me on Temple is the Owls' home field, their balanced attack that can keep the Tigers' high-powered attack off the field and their strong defense, which is the best Memphis has seen all season.

Temple is 4-1 with its lone loss coming on the road to Buffalo. It was the only time the Owls have given up more than 17 points this season. The Owls rank 10th in pass defense and are in the top-20 in fewest yards and points. Memphis ranks 93rd in run defense.
The Owls have won their last seven home games, covering six of them. Temple plays on grass, which is an off-surface for Memphis. This will be the Tigers' first game on grass this season. They are 7-18-1 ATS the past 26 times when playing on grass. The Tigers may not play as fast on grass as they do on turf.
Temple has a wild-card going, too, in Isaiah Wright. He's the reigning American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Year and a dangerous kickoff returner.
