The Islanders have scored three or more goals in six of their last seven games. They are averaging 3.4 goals a game during this span. The Blackhawks have key defensive injuries and give up the second-most shots in the league. Chicago is surrendering an average of 4.3 goals during its last eight games discounting allowing just one goal to Winnipeg during this time frame. 
The Blackhawks can do damage against an Islander defense that has given up a power-play goal in five consecutive games.
