The Liberty have managed 67, 66, 74 and 76 points since losing star rookie and sparkplug Sabrina Ionescu to an ankle injury. New York has had to step up defensively in the wake of Ionescu being out. They've done that in their last two games holding the Mystics and Aces to an average of 72 points.
The oddsmaker is starting to adjust to Ionescu's absence. Just not enough.
