It's a rare letdown spot for the Wizards. Washington has been favored four times. The Wizards have lost three of those times straight-up. 
Portland is off its worst loss of the season, 134-106, to the host Bucks on Monday. The timing was bad for the Trail Blazers. They caught the Bucks returning home off consecutive road losses to the Pelicans and Hornets. 
Now the timing is bad for Washington, which has the worst defense in the NBA. 
The Trail Blazers have covered six of their nine away contests this season. They also have defeated the Wizards during each of the last three meetings.
