It's no surprise Colorado rolled past Minnesota, 5-1, this past Thursday. The Avalanche outshot the Wild, 55-20. Colorado had more shots on goal in the first period than Minnesota did all game. 
And that was with Minnesota's ace defenseman Matt Dumba playing. Dumba suffered a leg injury in the second period and is doubtful for today's game. 
This juice is higher than I normally like to lay, but I still find value with the home favorite. Colorado is on a season-best five game winning streak. The Avalanche have won each of their last three games by 3 or more goals. They've held the opposition to no more than one goal in four of their last five games.
Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog are playing like the top line in hockey, which they could be. They've combined for 21 points during the Avalanche's five-game win streak. MacKinnon has always terrorized the Wild, producing 36 points against them in 35 lifetime games.
