Stephen Nover's NHL Thursday Free Play
(NHL) Vegas vs. Colorado,
Money Line: 160.00 Vegas (Away)
Result: Loss
I'm wondering if the Avalanche will be distracted returning to Denver after losing 5-4 on the road to the Coyotes this past Tuesday following the tragic mass shooting at a supermarket in Boulder, Colo., that happened earlier this week?
But my handicap isn't a fade on the Avalanche. Colorado had won seven in a row prior to its loss to Arizona. No, this handicap is more a value play on Las Vegas. These are the two best teams in the West Division so I'm attracted to taking a price this high on an elite team.

The Golden Knights have had a strong March, too, winning 10 of 13 games. No team has won more games this month. It's an added plus if Max Pacioretty, the Golden Knights' leading scorer with 16 goals, is able to play after missing the past two games with a lower-body injury. He was skating on Wednesday and did make the trip to Denver.

This has been a huge underdog series with the underdog winning in eight of the last nine meetings.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover is beating the NHL for a fifth straight season. Stephen has won 66 percent of his last 32 NHL premium/free plays and has his NHL High Roller Same Game Side/Total Parlay going today along with his NHL Three Dog Night underdog special.)
