Helped by playing 13 of their first 18 games at home, the Royals lead the AL Central with an 11-7 mark. Kansas City is due for regression. I'm not buying the Royals as a road favorite in a pitching matchup of Brady Singer versus Matthew Boyd.

Singer is a youngster going through growing pains. He's had two of three rough starts this season with a 3.77 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. The Royals are minus their closer Greg Holland. 

Boyd is back to being the Tigers' ace. He's been one of the best pitchers in the AL with 2-1 record, 2.03 ERA and 0.98 WHIP.
