Even at 39, Adam Wainwright can come up with a gem. He did last Sunday against the Cubs holding them to one hit and one walk in eight scoreless innings. 

But starting pitching isn't the main reason I'm getting behind the Cardinals here even though the Diamondbacks are pitching Seth Frankoff, who has a 7.27 ERA.

I just want to keep fading the Diamondbacks. They've lost 12 in a row and 15 of their past 16. They are the worst team in the National League. 
The lay price isn't too crazy either in which to go against Arizona.
