Arizona is one of many teams that has trouble playing at Coors Field where it has lost 10 of the past 14 times.

The Rockies are the Jekyll-Hyde of baseball when it comes to home/road. Colorado is 38-33 at Coors compared to 21-46 away. The Diamondbacks are nine games under .500 when playing on the road.

Colorado easily ranks No. 1 in home batting average at .284. Boston is a distant second at .271. The Rockies also rank No. 2 in home slugging percentage and OPS.

The pitching matchup is Zach Davies versus German Marquez. Davies is a flyball pitcher who doesn't miss many bats with 85 strikeouts in 113 innings. He surrendered 25 homers last year and has allowed 15 homers so far this season. Coors Field is not a good fit for him.

Marquez has largely been disappointing after being on the All-Star team last year. However, he's been pitching better lately with a 3.39 ERA in his last 10 starts. The highlight of those outings came on Aug. 28 when he bested Max Scherzer and the Mets, 1-0. Now Marquez is stepping way down in class and the price is low enough to back him.
