Having blasted the Pistons and Magic at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks are looking to start 3-0 at home for the first time since the 2012-13 season. Perhaps the Knicks tie that mark, but I'll take this many points behind a spunky Hornets squad to find out.

The Pistons and Magic are a combined 1-7. They are the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference. The Hornets are a step up for the Knicks, who are 5-11 ATS during their last 16 home games.

Charlotte has been a strong road club going 18-7-1 ATS in its last 26 away games. That trend has continued this season. The Hornet are 2-0 on the road defeating the Spurs and Hawks by a combined 44 points.

Despite missing LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier, the Hornets lead the NBA in scoring at 122.3 points per game.

The Hornets recently signed former Knick, Dennis Smith Jr. He played well in a starting role against the Hawks in Charlotte's last game three days ago scoring 18 points, with six assists and three steals.

Charlotte has covered in seven of its last 10 meetings versus the Knicks.
