Connecticut is good. But Buffalo, a middle-of-the-road MAC team, isn't as bad as this point spread indicates. 

The Bulls are off a dreadful loss, falling to James Madison at home three days ago, 97-62. James Madison is really good, however.

Buffalo is better than it looked in that game. Connecticut is fat and happy being unbeaten. The Huskies are missing some key players and are a terrible free throw shooting team. So I see the Bulls staying within the number.
