(MLB) San Francisco vs. Chi White Sox,
Money Line: -130.00 Chi White Sox (Home)
Result: Loss
You know the baseball season is here. Eloy Jimenez just went on the injured list.

I still find this price short so I'm going to back the home favorite White Sox in a pitching matchup of Lance Lynn versus lefty Alex Wood.

Just two years ago, Lynn was 11-6 with a 2.69 ERA for the White Sox. He wasn't as good last season, but he's still more than just an innings eater. Lynn gave up two runs on three hits in 5 2/3 innings to the powerful Astros in his first start. The Giants are a huge step down in class. San Francisco ranks 25th in batting average.

Wood wasn't good last season with an 8-12 record and 5.10 ERA. Wood was tagged for four runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Padres in his opening start this year.

The White Sox have scored 16 runs in their last three games. They had the second-highest batting average in the majors against lefties and were No. 3 in on-base percentage versus southpaws last season.

The Giants may not have infielder Thairo Estrada. He sat out the Giants' 7-3 loss to the White Sox on Tuesday after fouling a ball off his leg during Monday night's game. I mention Estrada because he's the Giants' leading hitter at .375.
