This isn't 2022. The Cubs are better and the Dodgers have gotten worse. LA shouldn't be laying this high of a price at this point of the season even with lefty Julio Urias on the mound.

It's the Cubs sporting the winning record at 11-7. The Dodgers, way down from a year ago, are 10-10.

Urias is an elite pitcher, but he's had trouble with the Cubs. He's 1-3 lifetime versus the Cubs with a 6.18 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in six starts. The Cubs just faced Urias this past Sunday. They scored three runs on eight hits against him in 5 2/3 innings getting homers from Patrick Wisdom and Cody Bellinger in a 3-2 road win.

The Cubs are No. 2 in batting average and third in runs. They are hitting .328 in five games against lefty starters, winning four of those games.

Veteran lefty Drew Smyly gets the start for Chicago. The Dodgers have struggled versus southpaws going 1-5 batting only .189 in those six games.
