It's not hard to envision each of these teams producing at least four runs apiece in a pitching matchup of Griffin Canning versus Jack Flaherty.

Canning has a 4.11 ERA in three starts this season with two of those games coming against the weak-hitting A's and Nationals. He's surrendered five walks and two homers in his last two starts spanning 10 1/3 innings.

Flaherty isn't the same pitcher he once was before he suffered arm trouble. Flaherty couldn't get out of the fifth inning against the Dodgers in his last start after giving up four earned runs while throwing a season-high 110 pitches.

The Angels have scored five or more runs in seven of their last nine games.

Note, too, that Hunter Wendelstedt is scheduled to be the home plate umpire. The Over is 21-12 (64 percent) the past two seasons when Wendelstedt has been behind the plate.
