He's 3-3 with a 3.62 ERA and an excellent 1.12 WHIP in 10 starts this year. He's had quality starts in six of his last eight outings going at least six innings in all eight of those appearances. He ranks 16th in the American League in strikeouts.

Alex Faedo is set to make his fourth start of the season for Detroit. The righthander has a 4.60 ERA pitching 15 2/3 innings. Faedo has displayed excellent control, walking only one batter. However, he has surrendered five home runs. He has a career 5.32 ERA. The White Sox faced Faedo last June and got to him for seven runs on nine hits in three plus innings during a 13-0 victory. Chicago is 6-1 the last seven times going against a righty starter.

Outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is expected to return to the White Sox lineup today after being out with a quad injury. He leads the White Sox in homers with 13.
