Stephen Nover MLB Free Monday Play
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Houston,
Money Line: -161.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Win
Noah Syndergaard isn't close to being the same pitcher he was with the Mets before he underwent Tommy John elbow surgery three years ago. He hasn't been able to make the transition from power to placement and remains maybe the easiest pitcher to steal on.

The Dodgers have moved on from Syndergaard after 1 1/2 seasons. Syndergaard now makes his Cleveland debut after going 1-4 with a 7.16 ERA in 55 1/3 innings for the Dodgers this season. He hasn't pitched in nearly a month because of a blister.

Syndergaard keeps getting worse. He's winless in his last six starts with an 8.25 ERA. The Astros are above average in power and steals. I don't see Syndergaard enjoying success here. He's a near auto-fade for me.

The Guardians are four games below .500 when playing on the road. They are last in the league in homers and 25th in runs. Astros rookie starter J.P. France is solid with a 6-3 record and 2.87 ERA, which goes down to 2.60 when he pitches at night.

Chalk worth laying.
