The timing is right to back the Oilers following their 5-2 victory against rival Calgary in the Heritage Classic. The Oilers got back much needed confidence with that win. Connor McDavid returned from injury to play in that game. That was back on Sunday. The Oilers haven't played since. They've reportedly had good practices and should be well prepared for this matchup. So I'm seeing a buy sign.

Dallas is playing for the third time in four days and without rest. Jake Oettinger was brilliant in net making 43 saves as the Stars edged the Flames, 4-3, at Calgary last night. That likely means backup Scott Wedgewood will be in goal for the Stars, a drop-off from Oettinger.
