The Patriots are weak offensively, but can hold their own defensively. New England has allowed just 17 points in its two preseason games.

The Commanders aren't likely to risk prize rookie starting QB Jayden Daniels in this final meaningless matchup. Marcus Mariota and Sam Hartman are banged-up. So that likely means a lot of playing time for Jeff Driskel and Trace McSorley. I'm not a fan of either career backup quarterback.

The Patriots have yet to decide on who will be their starting quarterback, rookie Drake Maye or placeholder Jacoby Brissett. Neither is likely to see much action especially considering the Patriots have multiple injuries in their offensive line.

Expect to see plenty of New England's other reserve quarterbacks, Bailey Zappe and Joe Milton.
