Kudos to Ottawa on going 8-3-1. The Redblacks are clearly in the playoff hunt looking to make the postseason for the first time since 2018.

But this is a rough spot for the Redblacks traveling to Hamilton to face the rested and desperate Tiger-Cats. Hamilton has had two weeks to rest and game plan after an impressive, 31-28, win on Labour Day weekend against Toronto.

The key for the Tiger-Cats is playing clean football. Their quarterback, veteran Bo Levi Mitchell, has been doing that lately.

Ottawa nipped Hamilton at home, 24-22, when the teams met early in the season. Now the Tiger-Cats are home, rested and getting more than a field goal. That's enough for me to back them.
