It's always tempting to get the 37-20 Orioles at this low of a price range. I'm giving in to temptation here backing Baltimore and Grayson Rodriguez against the below .500, underachieving Blue Jays.

The lay price is short because Toronto is home and starting Kevin Gausman.

I'd rather have the promising Rodriguez than the declining Gausman.

Rodriguez is 5-3 with a 3.53 ERA. Gausman is 4-3 with a 4.14 ERA. Gausman has pitched worse at home with a 6.20 ERA. He also is 1-3 with a 4.61 ERA in five career starts against Baltimore.

The Orioles are better managed and a far more complete team than the Blue Jays. Baltimore has the fourth-lowest ERA in the league and ranks fourth in runs and second in home runs.

Toronto is better on paper than on the field. The Blue Jays rank 23rd in runs and 25th in homers.
