Stephen Nover's Underdog Shocker
(MLB) Houston vs. NY Yankees,
Money Line: 186.00 Houston (Away)
Result: Win
The Astros are 11-10 in their last 21 games while the Yankees are 9-12 in their past 21 matchups. No American League team has scored more runs per game since the All-Star break than Houston. The Astros have outscored the Yankees by nearly a run per game during this time frame.

I'm not a fan of Astros starter Scott Feldman, who did beat the Yankees, 6-2, on opening day. However, the Yankees are way too big of a favorite. Michael Pineda is making only his second start since April 23 and first home start since April 16. He had been out with a right shoulder muscle injury. Pineda still could be on a pitch count after being limited to 67 pitches this past Wednesday and New York's bullpen faces serious fatigue issues.

The Astros have two of the hottest hitters in baseball. Jose Altuve is batting .421 in his last nine games, while Chris Carter is batting .340 with 19 RBIs in his last 13 games. He has the most RBI's of any player since the All-Star break.

The Yankees are hitting only .197 in their last eight games, losing six of them.
