Tulane is well coached and competitive on defense. The Green Wave held Connecticut to 217 yards of offense and three points last week.
I wasn't impressed with Central Florida's performance last week having to go overtime at home to defeat BYU, which was playing without its starting quarterback.
Tulane has a top runner, Sherman Badie, who can keep the chains moving and the clock running. He averages 7.2 yards per rush. Central Florida doesn't play up-tempo either, which is good for an underdog catching this many points.
Badie can take advantage of Central Florida's run defense, which ranks 114th.
The Green Wave have covered in their last eight October games and are 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games versus foes with a winning home mark.
