The defense, which was dreadful last year, can't be worse. But I expect them to be a vastly improved unit as former Auburn National Champion HC Gene Chizik is ready to transform them. Spurrier will be hoping red-shirt sophomore Connor Mitch is the man for the job behind center. The offense returns just 4 starters, the defense better with 8.
