They made the move for Bruce and then lose Cespedes and can't knock off the Yankees who raised the white flag with their deadline deals. Verlander looks reborn with a 1.69 ERA in July along with a .89 WHIP and .171 BAA. I like Syndergaard and can't knock his numbers.
