Taking the RUN LINE here with the A's. This isn't a knock of any kind on Houston. I think these guys are the AL West favorite, and I won't be shocked when they make a deal for another SP down the road or even add a veteran bat. But I just like Oakland a lot in this spot. I don't like backing teams trending down. And the A's fit the bill losers of 3 straight, while the Astros have reeled off 4 straight. But that is the thing. Sweeps on the road are tough. This will be a nice road trip for them either way. Correa left yesterday's game after being HBP, and I doubt he suits up today. Probably a nice little starter rest day for Houston before heading home and facing the Angels tomorrow. Also. Charlie Morton? He missed basically all of last year with a torn hammy. Much rather back the hard throwing youngster in Cotton. Kid strikes out guys, but has walked a few too many so far in his 2 starts. But he did stymie the Astros last year as he struck out 6 in 6 innings, allowing only 2 hits. One a HR to Evan Gattis. I'm looking for an A's breakout this afternoon. 4* RL Money OAKLAND A's
