Taking the INDIANS here. Both starters with nice splits in this spot. Clevinger 2.81 ERA in 5 road starts, .174 BAA and 1.13 WHIP. Verlander 2.45 in 5 starts .224 BAA 1.25 WHIP. That being said, I will take the Tribe. What would this line be if any other name other than Verlander was attached to this start? Like I said, he has nice home splits. But his body of work this season is showing some wear. Indians have beat him before, often even over the years. Half-way through the seasons, team are what they are. I think Detroit is an old team.
