Now, Pirates are 37-45 on the year, but the perception is they are the better team even with just 16 road wins. They have their best starter going tonight. Nova is 8-5 on the year with a 3.08 ERA in his 16 starts. But the regression has set in after a fast start, and his road splits say he will give up a few runs tonight. 2-3 3.49 ERA in 8 road starts away from home. The guy had a couple early gems including a SHO. But of late, he has been given up hits and runs. He had a 1.50 ERA in April. Then 4.17 in May and just about 3.50 in June.
