Taking OAKLAND in this spot. Now. I know we don't have a lot to go with Blackburn. But we are getting a nice return on what I think is a nice little investment. The kid has 3 MLB starts under his belt and has gone 6, 7.2 and 6. Just think is one of those teams that will have problems with a guy they have limited film on. Not to mention an AL team the rarely see. In 2 home starts Matz has a 12.38 ERA in 8 innings of work. 17 hits including 4 HRs allowed. For me though, looking at his last 2 starts, 4.1 innings 5 earned and 1 innings 7 earned, something is wrong. Who knows if he is injured. Or maybe he just isn't feeling the ball right.
