Taking NORTHERN ILLINOIS here. Absolutely not a fan of laying 32 and backing huge faves like this is not good for our bankroll for the long haul. But a nice spot play and I believe we still have value even at nearly 5 TDs. So last we saw NIU they were losing in MACtion to Toledo 27-17 last week. Same day we saw Ball State get trucked 56-14 by Eastern Michigan. That was on the heels of their 58-17 home loss to Toledo. Ball State has lost in conference play by 52-28-47-31-42 points. Huskies with the best defense in the MAC. They lead the MAC in sacks and Ball St has allowed 20 their last 5 games. A win and NIU is bowl eligible.
