Taking JACKSONVILLE STATE. This is a pretty solid group. Good defense. Crash boards. 5-1 their last 6, with that loss to NCAA rep Murray State. This North Texas team is a nice story. 8-22 last year! Did a free pick last week and took them +12 and they won by 13 on the road over South Dakota. They had lost 7 of 8 heading into the CIT. It is very tough going against a team that has topped 90 in their last 2 games. But they faced a disinterested South Dakota team. Then got Mercer who traveled 1800 miles to Phoenix. Then another 1000 miles to NT. Yeah. That isn't a haul for a small school. This is basically a day trip drive from Central Arkansas where JSU put down the hammer on an offense averaging 80ppg (80-59).
