I like Eflin, but not only is this team not hitting that well the last few weeks, the pitching is struggling also. Eflin is off giving up 5 runs to the Royals. Normally he is 2-3 run pitcher through 6 innings. What I like to look at now, and the next month is pitcher innings. Eflin is now at the most he has thrown since 2019. 59 in Covid 2020 - 105 in 2021 - 75 last year - and 105 this season. Maybe the work load is catching up to him. Not a chance I think about laying a huge price with him going forward. Baltimore counters with Kyle Bradish, and he has been in a fantastic groove lately. A 1.87 ERA .88 WHIP his last 7 starts. Against a struggling lineup, we are in a nice spot getting this number.
