Taking MERCER here. Well, I played Duke twice in the ACC Tourney waiting for a dominate team to show up. Still waiting. Yesterday I grabbed Manhattan (doing these write ups Monday) hopefully that was a winner for us. Same theory here. We have Duke. A big public team. Laying a somewhat small number to a small college. I expect this line to probably go up a point by tip. I can't talk up Mercer. They have 1 guy averaging more than 10ppg. They lost to majors Texas and Oklahoma. Beat Seton Hall and Mississippi. This is one of those plays that just doesn't pass the smell test so to speak. Call me crazy, but pretty sure Duke was a ranked team most of the year. Now, vs the Atlantic Sun Champion, they are laying a number similar to the line at Wake Forest. Same Duke team that covered spreads of 31.5, 29.5 and 24.5 at home vs small schools.
