This is a 10* CFB UNDERDOG OF MONTH on North Dakota State.
This is a "tricky" matchup for Colorado and while I'm stopping short of calling for an outright victory, I do think the back door will be left open just enough for the North Dakota State to comfortably sneak in through down the stretch.
Colorado lost six straight to ruin a 4-2 start last year. And next week the Buffs are at Nebraska, making this a classic "look ahead" spot.
NDSU is one of these super-talented FCS teams, that is ranked No. 2 in the nation before the season starts. North Dakota State is a veteran-laden team, led by star QB Cam Miller, who will be able to hold his own here vs. Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.
NDSU was able to keep pace with throwing teams last year but struggled against teams that could run the ball well.
In what I anticipate will be a competitive back-and-forth affair, I'm grabbing the points with NORTH DAKOTA STATE.
