With the majority of the betting public quick to back the home side here (nearly 75% of the early public action was quick to lay the points on this one), this one definitely appeals to my contrarian nature.
Ohio is 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS after an 85-75 loss at Illinois State as a 2.5-point favorite. Dating to last year the Bobcats have performed well in this spot for bettors though, going 4-1 ATS in their last five after three or more ATS losses in a row.
Memphis is 2-0 SU/ATS after an 80-74 win at UNLV last time out. It hits the road for two straight high-profile neutral court tournament games after this vs. San Francisco and UConn, so not only does this set up as a bit of a letdown spot in my opinion, but also a look ahead.
A great early season situational play here, so grab as many points as you can with OHIO.
