10* NFC NON-DIV GAME OF YEAR (EARLY) 105-85 RUN!
(NFL) Falcons (ATL) vs. Vikings (MIN),
Point Spread: 6.00 | -113.00 Falcons (ATL) (Away)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: 6.00 | -113.00 Falcons (ATL) (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* NFC NON-DIVISION GOY on the Falcons.
I think this is a great spot for the desperate Falcons to, at the very least, post a comfortable cover (but I'm also not ruling out an outright victory either.)
This is one of those "tricky" spreads, but I think it's the 75% of the general betting public that's on the wrong side this weekend.
Atlanta is 6-6 and first in the NFC South, but it's lost three straight SU/ATS. Looking back though finds the Falcons having gone a near-perfect 5-1 ATS in their last six after three or more SU/ATS losses in a row.
Minnesota is 10-2 after five-straight victories, but it needed a come-from-behind effort to barely nudge past Arizona 23-22 last weekend here at home as 3.5-point favorites.
With division rival Chicago coming to town next weekend, not only does this setup as letdown spot, but also a "look ahead" position for the home side.
This is a classic "trap" for Minnesota.
Grab the points, the play is ATLANTA.
Good luck, NP
