Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm anticipating much more of an offensive affair here on Saturday finally.

Pittsburgh's four-game win streak has ended with back-to-back 4-2 losses to the Rangers. They play with revenge here though after a 4-2 loss at Toronto at the start of the season, and note that Pittsburgh has seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of its last ten in trying to avenge a road loss vs. an Eastern Conference opponent.

The Leafs just had their three-game win streak snapped in last night's 3-1 home loss to Washington. Note though that Toronto has seen the total go OVER in four of its last five off a home loss as a favorite and in eight of its last 12 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

With each team pushing the pace like I suspect, everything points to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
