This is a 10* NON-CONF TOM on the UNDER Hawks/Rangers.
I love the way this one sets up to be more of a defensive battle, rather than a wide-open "shootout."
Chicago has lost five straight after a 4-2 setback at home to Winnipeg. Note though that looking back the Hawks have seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last ten after five or more straight losses in a row.
The Rangers are now 14-11 after back-to-back 7-5 home losses to Seattle. Despite the second straight loss, note that New York has still seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 12 after a home loss as a favorite.
With each side looking to rebound, I think we're going to finally see a much more defensive battle and overall slower pace to this one.
