Total: 148.50 | -115.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BEST OF BEST on the OVER Chattanooga/Evansville.
These teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games to open the season, but I believe the conditions are now correct for a higher-scoring affair here on Thursday evening.
Two really evenly matched sides with a spread like this.
Chattanooga is 5-4 after its most recent 80-62 loss to Lipscomb. It saw its five game win streak come to an end. Note though that the Mocs have seen the total go OVER in eight of their last 12 off a SU/ATS home loss as a favorite.
Evansville is 3-6 after back-to-back losses. The Purple Aces have seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but note that looking back Evansville has seen the total go OVER in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
Both teams are looking to return to the winner's circle and combined with the other situational and trend-based stats listed above, everything does indeed point to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later in my opinion.
Good luck, NP
