This is a 10* NON-CONF TOW on the UNDER Dayton/Marquette.

I base my picks on many different things, but I primarily base my Over/Under selctions (in every sport), on what I perceive to be great "situations."

Those situations could lead me to believe that it'll be a high-scoring affair for a variety of different reasons, or a lower-scoring defensive battle.

And the latter is the case here for sure.

As I said, a great situational play as 8-2 Dayton enters having seen the total go OVER in five straight after its most recent 86-62 win over Lehigh. But that's significant for us to note as the Flyers have in fact seen the total go UNDER in seven of their last ten looking back after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

9-1 Marquette is off an 88-74 win over Wisconsin and it's seen the total go OVER in three of its last four.

The Golden Eagles have a couple of tricky opponents here in Dayton and Butler up next and I expect the home side to really double-down defensively.

In my opinion, this O/U line is a bit TOO high, so the play is indeed on the UNDER.
