10* EAST-CONF NON-DIV TOTAL OF WEEK: 100% RUN!
(NBA) Bulls (CHI) vs. Raptors (TOR),
Total: 238.50 | -112.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 238.50 | -112.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* EAST-CONF NON-DIV TOW on the OVER Bulls/Raptors.
I'm expecting these Eastern-Conference opponents to push the pace and for this total to fly well OVER the number before the final buzzer sounds.
I base my selections on many different things, but for the most part my Over/Under picks (in every sport), are based around what I perceive to be great "situations."
And that's the case here, as for a variety of situational reasons, I'm expecting each to really push the tempo from the opening tip, until the final horn.
Chicago is 11-15 and it just broke a two-game slide with a 109-95 win over Charlotte. The Bulls have seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but that's signficant to note as Chicago has in fact seen the total eclipse the posted number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row. And with a tough back-to-back series vs. the Celtics up next, this "winnable" contest North of the border takes on added-importance for the visitors on Monday night.
Toronto is 7-19 and after four straight losses, including a 114-104 setback at Miami most recently, everything points to Toronto, which has had three days rest, being the aggressor in this one.
Taking into account all of these situational factors, I'm rollnig with the OVER in this one all day long.
Good luck, NP
