This is an 8* DUEL on the UNDER Giants/Mets.

Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but I'm anticipating more of a "duel" here finally on Saturday afternoon.

The Giants have now won three straight after yesterday's 8-7 win ohere. They've also seen the total go OVER in four straight now. But despite yesterday's high-scoring win, note that San Fran has still seen the total dip below the posted number in eight of its last 12 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

New York has now lost four straight, but note that the Mets have seen the total go UNDER the number in four of their last five in trying to avenge a home loss as a fav vs. an opponent.

We have two really good starters going head-to-head, and I believe we're in for a classic "duel" here today with the Giants handing the ball to Jordan Hicks (4-1, 2.38 ERA), while the Mets counter with Luis Severino (2-2, 3.48.)

Everything points to the UNDER as the correct call as far as the total is concerned in my opinion.
