This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the OVER Tigers/Rangers.

Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm finally anticipating much more of a "slug-fest" here on Wednesday.

Detroit has won three straight, including the first two of this series by scores of 2-1 and 3-1. Note though that the Tigers have interestingly seen the total go OVER the number in four of their last five after three or more straight victories.

Texas has now seen the total go UNDER in five straight, but that's important to note as well as the Rangers have in fact seen the total fly above the posted number in eight of their last 12 after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.

Kenta Maeda is just 2-2 with a ballooned 6.25 ERA for the Tigers, while Jose Urena is 1-5 with a 3.74 ERA for the Rangers.

I don't mind either of these guys, but this isn't about the starting pitchers tonight, it's about the overall situation combined with these strong numbers/trends, which ALL point to this total flying OVER the number sooner rather than later.
