This is an 8* TOTAL BLOOD-BATH on the UNDER Red Sox/White Sox.

I had a play on the UNDER in the Red Sox' 14-2 win here yesterday and while that clearly was a loser, I do now definitely feel that the conditions are now finally right for much more of a lower-scoring "duel" here on Friday.

The White Sox have now seen the total go OVER in six straight. They've also lost 14 in a row.

But we have two really decent pitchers going head-to-head, and with each side leaning on its starter here, I'm expecting each to go deep.

Cooper Criswell is 3-2 with a 3.92 ERA for Boston, while Garrett Crochet is 5-5 with a 3.49 ERA. Criswell sports a sharp 1.19 WHIP, while Crochet owns a tiny 0.93 WHIP.

The overall situation points to this total staying well UNDER the number once it's all said and done in my opinion.
