Editors Note: The NHL continues to be an ABSOLUTE "CASH COW" for AAA Sports! Indeed, after finishing among the BEST OF THE BEST in 2013/14, AAA is once again up to his "old tricks" on the ice, he's 62-42 +$5,426 Y-T-D and a MONSTROUS 241-165 +$31,460 s/ 2013! Three BIG NHL plays go Tuesday, including his "TOTAL OF MONTH!"

I think the home side is worth a second look in this matchup. Detroit has played fantastic since releasing Josh Smith, having yet to lose a game since moving its highest paid player. Brandon Jennings has stepped his game up, averaging 21.6 points on 55.8 percent shooting since the shake-up. So is it time to jump on the Pistons bandwagon?! Obviously not, there's some room to read between the lines when it comes to their recent win skein as four of their victories have come against clubs with losing records. As a situational handicapper, these are exactly the types of scenario's that I keep my eyes open for as the over-achieving Pistons hit the road for a tough stretch of games, with contests in Dallas and Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta on the horizon; in my opinion, this is a classic letdown/look-ahead spot tonight for the visitors. San Antonio had lost seven of nine but comes in with plenty of momentum and renewed confidense after posting back-to-back wins, most recently a 101-92 victory over Washington on Saturday. I think it's important to note that San Antonio has won 11 straight regular-season home games vs. teams from the Eastern Conference, including all six this year while giving up an average of just 90.2 points in the process. As mentioned off the top, I think SAN ANTONIO is an intriguing investment in this position.
