For a number of different reasons I think the home side is well worth the price of admission in this spot. Desperation breeds motivation, in my opinion the home side will clearly be the "hungrier" team in this one as it looks to end a four-game slide (0-2-2). Most recently the Stars would blow a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 at Colorado on Saturday. The Sens up and down season continues, they're 1-1-1 in entering the final leg of a four game trip, losing 5-2 to Colorado before then beating Arizona 5-1 on Saturday. But if history is any precedence, then the Stars have to be loving their chances as they've won five straight in the series (also note that Ottawa is a poor 3-5 -1.4 units after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest). I think the conditions are right for a comfortable home victory, consider a second look at the STARS in this one.
