AAA's O/U "ART OF THE GAME!" (+$52,000 NBA RUN CONT!)
(NBA) Minnesota vs. Philadelphia,
Total: 192.00 | 107.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* O/U ART OF THE GAME on the OVER between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Philadelphia 76ers.

For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. The visitors come in confident, after Wednesday's 110-98 win over Boston (I had the OVER in that one); one player to keep your eyes on today is Wolves' rookie Andrew Wiggins, who is definitely getting better as the season has progressed, the award for best young player in the league is his to lose by averaging 22.0 points on 50.7 percent shooting over his last four games. Minnesota has started to play a bit more competitively now that it's getting healthier having already welcomed back Martin and Pekovic. Note that Mo Williams, who had a 52 point effort earlier this month, will be back after missing Wednesday's game for a personal matter. And note that this is also a revenge game for the visitors as Philadelphia avoided a record-tying 0-18 start by beating Minnesto 85-77 on December 3rd. The 76ers also come in with momentum after an 89-69 win over the Pistons ended a six-game slide on Wednesday, Michael Carter-Williams finished with 20 points, nine boards and nine assists. So while Philadelphia ranks near the bottom of the league in most offensive statistical categories, a date vs. the defensively challenged Wolves is just what the doctor ordered to get untracked as Minnesota is among the NBA's worst in allowing a whopping 107.0 PPG. Note that Minnesota has seen the total go OVER the number in nine of 14 this year in revenging a home loss vs. an opponent, while Philadelphia has seen the total sail above the posted number in interestingly nine of its last 16 after a win by 10 points or more. In my opinion, the situation the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this one.
