Desperation breeds motivation and with a chance to end a franchise-record losing streak, I think it will be all hands on deck for the home side as it looks to handle the lowly Oilers. Also note that Edmonton is expected to be short-handed on this trip, with top goal scorers Benoit Pouliot and Taylor Hall sidelined with foot and leg injuries (and note that Edmonton is 5-8 (-1.4 units) when playing with two days of rest this season). Some times "desperation" is a factor in which the oddsmakers have a hard time properly quantifying into a line and that's the case here in my opinion, consider a second look at TORONTO in this one.
